The ever-popular Steinway pianist Charl du Plessis is our host at this year’s Klein Karoo Klassique. Join him as he engages in conversations with artists following selected recitals. This is not only the perfect opportunity to learn more about the music performed on stage, but to engage in conversation with some of South Africa’s foremost classical musicians.
There are two opportunities to see Charl on stage: On Saturday 10 August with Nina Schumann, Megan-Geoffrey Prins and Esthea Kruger for Sometimes it takes two as well as Bach, Brahms & Bolling on Sunday 11 August when the Charl du Plessis Trio is joined on stage by renowned cellist, Peter Martens.
Six music discussions are presented and mostly take place upstairs in the Banqueting Hall. The music discussion of Triumph of Sound takes place in NGK Park after the recitals. All recitals can be attended for free.
