Klein Karoo Klassique Gala Concert

Well-known musician and conductor Richard Cock and the Cape Town Festival Chamber Orchestra are joined on stage by outstanding violinist Samson Diamond for a concert which features Mozart’s beautiful Violin Concerto No. 4, as well as favourite light classics by Johannes Brahms, Johann Strauss, Fritz Kreisler, and a tribute to George Gershwin to celebrate 100 years since “Rhapsody in Blue” was written. A tribute to Ludwig van Beethoven who wrote his “Symphony No. 9” 200 years ago is also included on the programme. Celebrated musicians have been specially assembled for the Cape Town Festival Chamber Orchestra at this year’s Klein Karoo Klassique.
