WITH Louisa Theart (flute), Férrol-Jon Davids (clarinet), and Nina Schumann (piano)

Trio AéroClave presents a programme that spans centuries and styles: from the Baroque elegance of Bach and the romantic warmth of Brahms’ deeply expressive clarinet sonata to the rhythmic flair of Villa-Lobos’ Chôrosthe virtuosic Tarantelle by Saint-Saëns, and the jazzy charm of John Rutter. The programme also features two vibrant contemporary compositions: Hendrik Hofmeyr’s It Takes Two and Guillaume Connesson's Techno Parade, which brings a modern twist to the trio with its pulsing, electronic-inspired vibe. The recital is followed by a free music discussion with the artists upstairs in the Banqueting Hall.
