I am an emerging artist from the Klein Karoo whose creative journey is rooted in a lifelong love of art, creating and the beauty of the natural world. From a young age, I found joy in drawing, painting, and exploring different forms of creative expression. I view each artwork as part of an ongoing journey of becoming – an exploration of creativity, identity, and the search for an authentic visual voice.

Inspired by human emotions, dreams, and the colour harmonies and symbolism found in nature, my work often explores the connection between the inner world and the living world around us. Animals, flowers, plants, and the natural landscape frequently appear in my work as metaphors for growth, courage, transformation, and self-discovery.

My artistic practice embraces experimentation through mixed media, texture, expressive mark-making, plein air painting, and intuitive art. Through a blend of abstraction and realism, I seek to create works that invite reflection, evoke emotion, and celebrate the light of life that exists within all living things.
