Ina Marx, a mystical academic, found a working order in patterns and symbolism, in her life and nature: The “cosmic magic”. Practising both clinical psychology and art, she lives a colourful and varied life. Her work was accepted for the New Signatures exhibition, and she has been included in publications like Marina Ehlers “Wyle” and “Art & Artists of the Eastern Cape” by Helena Theron. Ina has been a mentor and inspiration for many artists in Oudtshoorn since moving here in 2002, where the semi-hermitic life on Gamtoos Klein Karoo Mountain with her husband Gerhard appeals to her. She has participated in multiple exhibitions with ArtKaroo Gallery and other galleries like Youngblood in Cape Town and Cape Palette in George. She finds excitement and joy to journey the forever realms of the deeper Mind. “I adore to feel and do art anything. When I paint, it reels me into the Aethers, the everything of all possibilities. Mind the gap. Yet, Painting helps me to plummet into the gap of In-between energy.”
